The terms and conditions of all loans remain as agreed when the loan was taken out. Payment is due in line with your agreement. If you fail to make payments on time then this will affect your credit record. If you have any difficulty in making payments, please call the Amigo Customer Care team straight away on:

If you require support with your existing loan, please see below the best way to contact us depending on your query. If you are looking for;

  • an update on a Scheme Claim, please email "[email protected]" or call 01202 629798 to speak to a member of our team.
  • support with repayments on your loan, please call 01202 629161 to discuss your situation with a member of our team.
  • more information about your account being sold, please contact the Debt Collection Agency that has taken over ownership of your account. You can find their contact information within the Welcome Letter they've sent to you.

Your loan should be repaid as arranged when it was taken out (unless you have other arrangements agreed with our Collections team). Payments will be taken as usual. You don’t need to take any additional action.

Please note, we’ll never ask for your full bank details as a part of identity verification and without you informing us that you need to change them.

As part of the wind down, we will be selling live loans to Debt Collection Agencies for them to take on the ownership of those accounts and the responsibility of supporting customers to repay their debt. Amigo customers will receive a Welcome Letter advising who their loan will be managed by moving forward.

This does not affect the agreed terms and conditions of your loan.

This isn’t a possibility as the company is no longer providing loans.
