Many different departments come together to make up the support function for Amigo. Each department plays a vital role in the day to day running of the business and each contribute to desired goals.
The Business Change department work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure high quality projects are delivered and provide an outstanding customer product. The technical system and business knowledge of these team members is second to none. If you need to know how something works you go to the change team! Many of the team started their career at Amigo within the operations department, quickly moving up the ladder to join the change team.
Compliance and Quality Assurance is the function that makes sure Amigo operates within the law and in line with regulation, as we're authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to lend people money. This team look after policies and procedures and provide reports to management that shows how we're doing against the standards we're expected to meet. Our Complaints department deals with customers who have expressed dissatisfaction about any part of Amigo's product or service. We aim to keep customers happy by investigating their concerns and putting things right when they need to be.
The Marketing department act as the gateway between our product and our customers. This growing team of forward-thinking creatives work continuously to ensure every touch point with our customers, and potential customers, is met with simplicity whilst engaging with flare. The team manages both digital and traditional channels, with a focus on the user experience to help guide decisions. Marketing work closely with our Engineers, Change Team and Operations departments to drive change and ensure we are providing our customers with the best possible Amigo experience, whilst ensuring our brand identity and values remain true in all that we do.
The Credit Risk and Analytics department use data to make intelligent business decisions. With unique disciplines such as Decision Science, Analytics, MI and Credit Risk, its broad remit includes building predictive models to improve business performance and ensuring that the business has accurate data in order to highlight opportunities and risks. Employees joining this function typically have backgrounds in maths, economics, business and IT.
Our Human Resources team is responsible for attracting, recruiting and onboarding great talent into Amigo, and supporting our business with workforce skills and demand. The team are focused on providing appropriate learning interventions and reward and recognition approaches to achieve long term careers as well as engaging and rewarding our Amigos fairly. We know that our people are absolutely at the heart of what we do and so only the best will do!
