We’re not a new company, but our thinking is always fresh. Our story first started as a guarantor lending business in 2005, and now we proudly hold 14 years of experience that we continually use to push forward our growth. Amigo was the first direct-to-customer brand in the UK guarantor lending sector and the first standalone guarantor lender to obtain full Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) authorisation.
Our product is simple and transparent - we offer guarantor loans to customers who typically have a poor or thin credit file, with an APR of 49.9% APR. There are no other fees, early settlement penalties or any other charges. What you see is what you get. Our customers are at the forefront of our thinking, and will forever be the main driver of our business culture. Helping those who need us is what keeps us working hard and retains our focus.
We continue to evolve from an entrepreneur-led company into a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulated PLC listed on the London Stock Exchange. The service we provide to our customers can be encapsulated in one very simple product, based on four pillars:
