Your Account

You're in the right place.

We're all about the easy life at Amigo Loans. No hassle, stress-free.

That's why we've put everything you need to know about your loan, all in one place, there for when you want it. That place is Your Account.

First things first, to access your online account you'll either need to be a borrower or guarantor with an active loan, or to have had a loan in the past. If your loan hasn't been paid out yet, check out our guides on applying for a loan or becoming a guarantor

You can access your account in two ways: on our website, or, if you're a borrower, through our mobile App.

You can download the App for free by following this handy link: amigoloans.co.uk/mobile-app

How do I log in to my account?

Logging into your account is the same if you’re using the App or going online. Just click log in and enter your mobile number and date of birth.

We’ll then text you a code that you’ll need to enter on the app or on our website. This confirms it’s you and that no one else is trying to access your account without you knowing. Once done, you’re in.

Why can’t I log in?

If you’re struggling to log in, it might be because you’ve changed your mobile number or we don’t have your correct date of birth.

You’ll need to send us a quick email to [email protected] or call us on 01202 629 161 (9am-7pm Mon-Thurs; 9am-6pm Fri; 9am-1pm Sat) and we’ll update what needs updating.

How does the guarantor log in?

The guarantor logs in the same way as the borrower. Just enter your mobile number and date of birth, and we’ll text you a code to confirm it’s you.

How do I view my statement?

Once you’re logged in, you can check the progress of your loan 24/7.

Here’s where you can see helpful stuff like:

  • Your account statement
  • Your current balance
  • When your next payment is due
  • And when the interest is calculated

Basically, everything you could need to know about your loan.

How do I check my current balance?

If you want an even easier breakdown of your balance, you can text the word ‘STATEMENT’ to 07595553371 and we’ll send you a mini SMS statement.

Otherwise, just log in to your online account.

How do I update my details?

If you ever need to update your details (address, telephone number, email address), you can log in to your online account or the mobile App and click on the ‘Your Details’ tab.

To update your payment details (bank account, debit or credit card, or payment date) click on the ‘Repayments’ tab.

It’s instant and easy.

How do I remove a debit or credit card?

You’ll need to give us a quick call to remove or delete any of your payment details. Not just because we like chatting (though we do), but because it’s important we hold certain details for you. Either way, give us a quick call on 01202 629 161 (9am-7pm Mon-Thurs; 9am-6pm Fri; 9am-1pm Sat) and we'll remove any payment details you don’t want us to hold onto.

How do I remove my continuous payment authority on my debit or credit card?

To cancel payments from your card, you’ll need to call us on 01202 629 161 (9am-7pm Mon-Thurs; 9am-6pm Fri; 9am-1pm Sat) or email us at [email protected]. Automatic payments make sure your account is always running smoothly. We’re happy for it to stop but it’s a good idea to make sure there’s another arrangement in place first.

How do I change my name?

If you’ve changed your name, you can email us any documentation to [email protected] or post it to Amigo Loans, 118-128 Commercial Road, Bournemouth, BH2 5LT. Once we’ve got it, we’ll update your name on our records. Two things to remember:

  • A photocopy will do - you don’t need to send us any original documents.
  • You’ll need to include your agreement number or we won’t know whose name to change

While you’re at it, you can also tailor how we contact you. Not that we think you should, but the option is there in case you want it.

How do I opt out of marketing?

Don’t want to hear from us? We won’t be offended (we promise).

To opt out of marketing, go to www.amigoloans.co.uk/optout and enter your mobile number or email address, and your date of birth. You can then select if you'd like to stop receiving marketing texts, emails or letters, or all three.

If you have an existing loan with us, we’ll still keep you up to date with your repayments, and if you apply again, we’ll send you important communications about your application.
